Limbo: A Place Between

Limbo is a state of being that many of us know but rarely name. It’s the space between certainty and doubt, comfort and chaos, life and its shadows. It’s fragile yet unyielding, heavy with questions yet weightless in its silence. This collection invites you to step into that place—to explore what it means to exist in the in-between.

Every piece in Limbo is a reflection of this tension. Wool, with its strength and longevity, anchors us in the tangible. It’s grounding, reliable—a material that weathers the storm. Feathers, in contrast, speak to the fragility of existence. They are delicate and unpredictable, needing care and attention to survive. Together, they represent the duality of life: solid and fleeting, protective and vulnerable.

As a designer, I created Limbo from a deeply personal space. I’ve been living with the weight of fear and uncertainty—a feeling that leaves you suspended, neither here nor there. Limbo is that place: not quite rooted, not quite free. It’s a state where you hold on tightly to what feels real, even as the world shifts beneath your feet.

The all-black palette of the collection reflects this emotional landscape. Black is definitive, yet it holds multitudes. It’s the colour of mourning and resilience, of shadows and depth. It allows the textures—soft wool and delicate feathers—to tell their story without distraction.

Limbo isn’t about finding answers. It’s about acknowledging the beauty of not knowing, of living in the questions. With this collection, I hope to offer not just clothing but an experience—a moment to pause and honour the complexities of being human.

This is Limbo. Certain and fragile, grounded and untethered. Welcome to the in-between.
